Barcelona were one of eight teams to qualify directly for this round by winning their group. They were drawn against the victors in this week’s play-off ties. Among the other matches is an all-Spanish encounter between Atlético Madrid and Sevilla.
If Gheorghe Hagi’s Viitorul Constanţa win at Porto, they will travel to Barcelona or Dortmund in the quarter-finals. All ties are one-off games, with the semis and final played as a single event on 21 and 24 April at the Colovray Stadium opposite UEFA’s Swiss headquarters in Nyon.
